Chairs - C3 Stacking Chair
Developed through several versions during the late 80's, the current chair was first made in 1989.
Another design classic which has found its way into the V&A and the Science Museum as examples of sustainable design and ingenious material forming respectively.
Used by universities, libraries, theatre bars, meeting rooms, restaurants and around the tables of a discerning public.
Its success is down to being comfortable, strong and wonderful to look at, with back support that avoids the spine but gives excellent lumber support, combined with a fully triangulated frame in steam bent ash.
Seat options: Upholstered, turned oak or ash, or pierced birch ply.
Stacks five high, and still a manageable weight.
